Although he’s just turned 60 this week, Baywatch star David Hasselhoff doesn’t seem to have lost his pulling power.
Fans can’t keep their fingers from giant cutouts of the actor flashing a dreamy smile and sporting a lean tank top-clad torso. And who could blame them?
About 550 of the cutouts were stolen from outside Cumberland Farms convenience stores in recent weeks.
Cumberland brand strategy specialist Kate Ngo says only about 20 remain for the roughly 570 stores in New England and Florida.
The company is using the cutouts in an advertising campaign to sell iced coffee.
“Although we are flattered our customers have become attached to our iced coffee ads, we do not encourage theft,” Cumberland Farms said in a statement to WHDH-TV, according to CNN. “The Hoff is there for all to enjoy. -Source
