Courante in D minor- J.S. Bach

The whole second suite always sounded “angry” to me.

Rostropovich plays Bach’s Cello Suite No. 3 in C Major- Prelude

Today was J. S. Bach’s birthday, he would have been 327.  I don’t throw this word around often, but he is one of the few historical figures I would consider to be a true genius.

BWV 1012 Gavotte in D Major, Unaccompanied Cello Suite No. 6- J. S. Bach

Don’t listen to Bach?  Kindly remove yourself from the premises.

Sonata No. 3 in C Major, BWV. 1005: I. Adagio
Johann Sebastian Bach

Surely you don’t mean to insinuate that the C Major Adagio was a better piece than the G minor Adagio.  I mean I love it as much as the next guy, but let’s be serious here.

Gigue in G Major- Johann Sebastian Bach

I should probably sit down one day and actually learn the second half of this piece.

Courante in D minor from the second Unaccompanied Cello Suite- J. S. Bach

I wish we were devoting more resources towards resurrecting Bach.

Partita No. 1 in B minor BWV 1002: IV. Tempo di Borea - Double- J. S. Bach

Whenever I start listening to a new band or song I really like I wish I could go back in time and ask Bach what he thought about it.

Prelude in C minor, BWV 999- J.S. Bach

I was just going through my big pile of sheet music looking for something when I came across the sheets for this piece.  At first I thought it was this Prelude in C minor, but the notes didn’t match up, so then I thought it was this one, but that didn’t work either.

Confused, I decided to just sit down and play it and then I instantly remembered how the entire piece went after not even thinking about it for almost two years.

Music is weird.
