The Bells, The Bells: Notre Dame Restored
Just heard about this story today and thought it was really cool.  Apparently all but one of Notre Dame’s bells were melted down to make canons during the French Revolution, and the other existing ones are all out of tune, so the City of Paris is getting new ones to be in harmony with the last original bell.  This is all in anticipation of next year’s 850th anniversary of the Notre Dame Cathedral.  That blows my mind that such beautiful architecture can last for so long.

Yokohama Landmark Tower- Yokohama, Japan
I always loved this building, its symmetry, its geometry and just overall monolithic nature.

Walkable Roller Coaster in Duisbreg, Germany.  I like how it has a loop, like they expect people to try walking upside down.

Neglecting the fact that the Beijing Great Wheel was never constructed, this is a neat little infographic and I really like the design for this proposed wheel.
